OVERVIEW: Amongst the hustle and bustle of vibrant Ledbury Road, Walmer Castle is an iconic part of Notting Hill life. Barr Joinery manufactured bespoke cabinetry pieces for the elegant first-floor restaurant dining room, under the stunning designs and seamless project management of Isabella Worsley.
Waiter station
In dark-stained oak and subtly adorned with antique brass ironmongery, a honed Italian black slate worktop with scalloped upstand detail gives this piece a traditional, timeless look.
Feature wine wall
An apothecary-inspired wine wall, made from solid oak and stained to a carefully specified dark wood finish (Mylands ‘Light Wenge’), toning with the richly patinated original wide oak floorboards. Perfect symmetry and flat-framed detailing are complemented by traditional antiqued brass pins and pull handles, nodding to the building’s original Victorian fixtures and fittings.
