St James' Apartments

PROJECT TYPE: Whole-Apartment Cabinetry

INTERIOR DESIGNER: Lorna Wright Design

OVERVIEW: Bespoke mixed-materials cabinetry for a luxury Westminster apartment. Pieces throughout were manufactured from sustainably sourced oak, finished in a deep brown walnut tone, with contemporary brass hardware by Joseph Giles. Lorna Wright worked closely with the Barr Joinery team to achieve an opulent luxe finish throughout, characterised by inset lighting, solid brushed brass inlayed trims and integrated upholstered panelling.

Also manufactured from walnut-stained solid oak, warm white antique brass marker lights are set into the underside of the shelves, with back panels finished in the same Phillip Jefferies Western Weave as the walls of the wider space. Brass trims and an integrated butane fire are incorporated into the cabinetry.

A floor-to-ceiling headboard upholstered in Chase’ Erwin Ultrasuede sets the scene for a mixture of curved and panelled bespoke furnishings. A made-to-measure dressing table exhibits Phillip Jefferies’ Newport Threads to the drawer panels, matched to wallcoverings to create a serene, seamless space.
